Birgitt Smelty, Managing Partner

Birgitt Smelty is the Managing Partner of Smelty + Partner and oversees both national and international sustainability projects for the entire group. She has gained her professional experience and innovative approaches to solutions in the fields of logistics and mobility, solar and energy storage, as well as in innovation programmes and the resulting transformation. Birgitt Smelty has acquired her expertise in various sales, marketing and management functions in the international logistics industry. The area of ‘renewable energy’ plays an important role in her business activities. This is why she is a shareholder at WK Solarpower in the field of photovoltaic solutions for commercial enterprises, agriculture and public institutions. In addition, she has been socially committed to children and teenagers from low-income families in Germany and in many international CSR projects for over two decades. She is also a member of the Akwaaba Techiman association and is engaged in the German Football Ambassadors association.
